Senior Center Services

Uinta Senior Center, Inc. (USCI) serves as a gateway for local aging populations — connecting older adults to vital services in one place, to help them stay healthy and independent. We serve over 214 Seniors per day in Evanston, Bridger Valley, Afton, and Kemmerer. USCI offers a wide variety of programs and services, including:

  • National Family Caregiver Services
  • Health, Fitness and Wellness Programs
  • Transportation Services
  • Public Benefits Counseling
  • Volunteer and Civic Engagement Opportunities

  • Educational and Arts Programs

How is USCI Funded?

To maintain operations, USCI must leverage resources from a variety of sources, including federal, state and local governments, special events, public and private grants, businesses, bequests, participant contributions, in-kind donations and volunteer hours

Additional Services

  • Assistance in filling out forms, such as elderly tax rebate, energy assistance applications, social security, and Medicare applications.
  • Translation services to those whose first language is something other than English.
  • Referral to other service providers and entities.
  • Free medical loan closets in both Evanston and Bridger Valley, for any senior, who is in need of a wheelchair, bath bench, shower chair, bedside commode, electric scooter, cane, walker and many other items.

Evanston

Center Hours
8am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.

▪Lunch served Tuesday through Friday at noon.
▪Saturday and Sunday lunch from 11am to 1pm.

Bridger Valley

Center Hours
8am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.

▪Lunch served Monday through Friday at noon.

Meals

We provide nutritious meals to the elderly in an in-house setting as well as deliver to home-bound citizens five days per week. Frozen meals are delivered during the week for the weekend. Suggested donations are for seniors only, all others must pay the asking price for a meal.

▪$4 suggested donation for seniors.

▪$6 fee for non-seniors.

Monthly Birthday Lunch

Evanston
We celebrate birthdays on the second Friday of each month. All meals purchased by Silver Eagle Refining.

Bridger Valley
We celebrate birthdays on the second Friday of each month. Seniors with birthdays during that particular month are provided a meal courtesy of 1st Bank, Mountain View Branch.
