Since 2010, Uinta Senior Center Inc. has also provided in-home services in Lincoln County, under the USCI name in the Kemmerer area of South Lincoln County,  and dba North Lincoln In-Home Services in the Star Valley area of Northern Lincoln County. Two of the primary programs in use are Wyoming Home Services (WyHS) and National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP).

Services offered in Lincoln County through WyHS include:

  • Homemaker services – Light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, etc.
  • Personal care — Assistance with eating, dressing and hygiene.
  • Personal Emergency Response System — Lifeline
  • Care coordination – Assessment and determination of services needed.
  • Medication setup

With the WyHS Program, services are provided free of charge to low-income Seniors and individuals with a disability. There are fees based on a sliding scale for residents with slightly higher incomes.

National Family Caregiver Support Program (NFCSP) services are available to those qualified individuals who provide care for those 60+ at home. How to qualify:

  • A person 18 and older, caring for a person 60 years and older.
  • A person 18 and older, taking care of a person with Alzheimer’s or related Dementia.

NFCSP Services offered include:

  • Assistance with accessing services for the caregiver.
  • Case Management
  • Counseling/Education
  • Information to Caregivers they may not be aware of.
  • Respite care for caregivers at home.

You can be on both programs simultaneously.
