Don’t fall prey to scams

Anyone can become the victim of identity theft, including elderly people. And they don’t know their identity has been stolen until unexplained charges start showing up on credit cards or their bank accounts have been emptied.

Seasoned Seniors: Cruncy, cheesy mac

INGREDIENTS
1 package Kraft Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 cup Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup Breakstone’s or Knudsen sour cream
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
6 Ritz crackers
1 tablespoon butter or margarine

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat oven to 375°F.
2. Prepare macaroni and cheese dinner as directed on package. Stir in 1/2 cup shredded cheese, sour cream and pepper; spoon into 1-1/2 quart casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with remaining shredded cheese.
